This interview was made in Marseille the 29th of October 2005.
Laureline and O.S. have met the Drummers Rigg.

How did you come to tattoo?

I always love tattoo when I was a kid. All is own a tattoo when I was kid for some reason, like the all scene and every gang. My Sister actually told me that I won't get tattooed as I was fourteen years old. I wanted to get tattooed so bad. And She told me to wait. She makes me promised like the family promise that I wait 'til I was eighteen and when I was eighteen I got tattooed. So I just always loved it, I just like the art you know, I don't know, it's a personal thing.

Which one is your first one and what does it symbolize?
My first one is on my shoulder, it's a cover of a Tool album "Aenima".
It's a eightball with two eyes. My first one. The art remind me a bit Gigger. I thaught to get this big back piece in it, that's my first one.

Why did it you make it first?
I don't know, I couldn't decide which one exactly I wanted the first. I know that I wanted to get a lot.
I wanted it there because my parent couldn't see it at first. I keep my shoulder around with wherever. And eventually obviously they'll find out.

Which one is your last one?
My last... Shit… what I get last? Oh! my chest, "DMS" on my chest.

Which one hurts the most?
My Neck, my neck killed me, my neck hurt like hell! (Laugh) They all hurt you know!

Do you have any new idea for your next one?
I'm just trying to finish up, I'll get some Japanese work to get done on my back, the singer of Ringworm is still working on my arm. So he just influenced me in all that I've got.
Actually the next one I'm gona get is a Paul, our bass player, Paul from Kill Your Idols. Oh wait, no no no, Paul from Deathcycle now!

Is there a tattoo artist that impresses you?
I really do like James Bulloch, or Human Furnace from Ringworm. He does every thing for me for a while… I like his style… kind reminds me,... oh what is name? Paul Booth a little bit because he's got his own style.
And there's a guy whose name is Holly is in Tempa Arizona. I'm gonna start with him when I go home.

Do you see any correlation between music and tattoo?
Yes of course. But it's just a thing on all hardcore scene, punkrock, metal whatever you know I think it's like an expression of, you're not on the norm, I don't know what to say, like a rebellious thing you know, so I think people get tattoos specially in music scene because the hardcore scene is a kind of rebellious thing, Shackle value, or much personals reasons, it's Shackle value you know what I mean. There's definetly a correlation I think.

What do you think about the new rise of tattoo is it a fashion or a new breath for the body culture?
You know what, I think it's both I mean, I think people gets tattoos now because it's just cool. I see a lot of guys who've got sleeve for no reason, got nothing behind it, just because it's cool.
I think it's definitely become a fashion thing. But it's also good for body culture, a good breath fresher for body culture, It's a little more accepted now. So I think yes it's all right.
But at the begining it's a personal thing you know, still a personnal thing. Like I said I wanted to get covered when I was fourteen and I'm not covered, I'm just taking my time, I know what I want, I did not rush, I hopefully be around for a long time. I did not rush to get tattoo.

Do you have a message for kids who would like to be tattooed?
May sure you know exactly what you want get, don't rush into it, try to keep a personal thing, a personal reason you want to get it done . And make sure you know what you want for ever. Now I know I can't get a job, I can't get a normal job now with my neck and my hands tattooed, so I'm screwed. (Big Laugh). And you know that's true, I'll play the drums for rest of my life...

Did you get tattooed by NYHardcore Tattoo?
You know what, I wanted but I don't know why I didn't. Vinnie Stigma didn't, he was pissed. (laugh)
I haven't done it yet, I don't leave in New York anymore, it's stuff like busying, money is a little tight . I hope soon than later..

Last question about Rag Men, when a new album?
I really don't know, Mitts it's kind a like brain child, it's is thing a little more than it's mine. We just write now...
Hopefully, I'd like to, it's depand of Jorge, we went all in our own thing, so I really couldn't tell you, no idea, we have to get together, writting something new, we'll see...
